Charles H. Pfennig
Charles H. Pfenning (January 22, 1871 – August 13, 1955) was an American businessman and politician.
Born in Neenah, Wisconsin, Pfenning moved with his parents to Kenosha, Wisconsin in 1873. Pfenning was in the retail grocery business. He was also in the insurance and real estate businesses. In 1900 and 1928. Pfenning was elected to the Kenosha Common Council and was president of the council. In 1906, he was elected sheriff of Kenosha County, Wisconsin. In 1902 and 1916, Pfenning was elected mayor of Kenosha and was a Republican. Pfenning served in the Wisconsin State Assembly in 1913. His son Frederick S. Pfenning also served in the Wisconsin Assembly. He died in Kenosha, Wisconsin.〔Wisconsin Industrial Commission (comp.) ''(The Wisconsin Blue Book )''.
